A breathtaking scene in dessert
While we were driving forward in the arid dessert in our luxuriant Land Rover, we suddenly bumped into a sandstorm. The swirling and turbulent air hit our Land Rover fiercely, making the 4-matic system out of use, leading to the cars’ trembling and shivering constantly.
Consequently, we are forced to jump out of it. The moment I was thrown violently into the turbulence, sand hit me in my face unsympathetically , contributing to unbearable pain and dazzling conscious. Before long, my eyes, mouth and shoes were all filled with sand particles.
Confronting the extremely hazardous condition, my throat obstructed and gasping for air was truly a conundrum. It seemed that I was on the verge of death for lack of oxygen. Consecutively, the sharp sand and ferocious wind scratched my face and shoulder. Nevertheless, I was determined to do my best for survival and I’ll never surrender to fate and calamity. I struggled my way in the hazy light, wrapping a scarf around my head for the sole purpose of protecting myself from the devil sandstorm.
Gradually and fortunately, the sunshine appeared in the cleave of the sky, bringing me a scene of hope and assurance. The sandstorm finally came to an end. Met with the brilliant sunshine, I enjoyed a great sense of effervescence, jubilation and accomplishment, though exhausted, dehydrated and comatose to some extent.
After breathing the fresh air again, I was auspiciously found and rescued by some ingenious livers. When I came to life again, an idea suddenly struck me that a person’s potential is infinite and as long as we hold our impregnable conviction, catastrophy may not be catastrophic to us and we’ll make it via our endurance and perseverance.
